Training Philosophy - The program emphasizes owner education to maximize
your dog's education and is based on positive reinforcement to effectively communicate the desired behaviors you want your
dog to exhibit. Written literature is provided with the course to continue the learning process outside of the session. Full
family participation is strongly encouraged.
The foundation to effective and positive dog training is understanding your dog's behavior. To understand this, you'll
need to know how your dog learns and what motivates your dog to meet your requests. The time and effort placed on training
will increase the bond between you and your companion, teach mutual respect, compromise, and acceptance.
Canine Behavior Counseling & Obedience Training (Classes/Privates)
CLASSES: Learn to speak and understand your dog's body language for better communication and compliance.
All basic commands are taught as well as how to integrate coping skills and deference without harm to your relationship with
your dog. Learn to set boundaries and expectations out clearly and be the pilot in your relationship with your dog.
Leave your treats at home.
PRIVATE SESSIONS: Problem behavior can be extremely frustrating for both the owner and the dog. Whatever
the cause, many problem behaviors can be modified by being proactive. Each client/problem is dealt with individually.
A thorough evaluation is conducted to assess all contributing factors. A treatment plan is designed and implemented to help
modify inappropriate behaviors.

(NOTE: If your pet is a Special Needs Dog ... they must be accompanied by Vet's Release and explicit
instructions for treatments and medications). We LOVE to take in the Special Needs when we can but need to assure current
vet records.
